I figure this might be the best place to come for help with this.
I'm trying to replace an old XServe with a new Mac Pro and want to just clone the drive over for the time being as I did not set this server up and just want to migrate the data.
The XServe is on 10.6.8. I've tried permissions repairs, Firewire 800 and USB 2. The drives can be seen in System Profiler, but Disk Utility will not recognize that they are connected so I am unable to mount them.
Any ideas? Should I do a SMC/PRAM reset to see if that fixes it?
