One of my issues with Macs is that it's difficult to have three monitor setups. Presently the only way to do it is get a Retina (I don't like using laptops as desktops with that tiny screen), iMacs (I don't like a computer with a built in monitor) and the Mac Pro (too big, but I have one presently with 2x24" Cinema and a 27" Cinema centered). So I'm looking forward to the new iteration which will support whatever I want.
I already have two Thunderbolt monitors flanking a 17" MBP (not a great setup due to the small laptop monitor) which I'll use for the NMP. Three 27" monitors is too big, so I'm thinking that a portrait 24" in the center will work (I like a symmetric setup too). Any recommendations for a monitor that does well in portrait mode, preferably glossy?
Unfortunately OS X doesn't do portrait well. With my other computers you see a noticeable lag when a monitor is in portrait mode, I hope the NMP won't have this issue.
